My New e-Book

Not to long ago I read about the results of a study done with a group of baby boomers about their concerns as they ease into retirement.  I was shocked to see what the number one concern was not money, their health or the economy it was their children’s lack of fiscal understanding.  More than half of the respondents cited their children’s lack of financial sophistication as their number one concern.

This came as no surprise to me since only 7 of the 50 states requires high schoolers to take courses in personal finance to graduate.  Of 6,865 high school students who took the JumpStart Coalition Financial Literacy survey in 2008 the mean score was 47.5%.

Being a Certified Financial Planner™ I figure I can help the generations to come.  Therefore, I have written a short book that cuts right to the point about different aspects of investing, insurance, credit, college savings, and handling money.  The ideal target for the book is the 18-30 year old that may want to learn more about personal finances.
